Pleated Decorative Fans, or what is also known as a window fan or an oriental type wall fan, these fans have many uses.  They stand on their own and can be used as a decorative fireplace fan, hiding the fireplace or enhancing the fireplace or even used as a fireplace screen on the floor.  They can be used in a window as a window shade.  Made from durable vinyl wallpaper, they are guaranteed to never fade with sunlight. They can even be hung on a wall with the hanger which is included. Decorative fans are fun to collect and really work well to enhance any room. The decorative fan has been in existence for thousands of years, dating back to the Egyptian dynasties right up through to today. Decorative fans come in wide range of sizes, with the smallest being around 10 inches in height (sometimes called hand fans) and the largest being around six feet high and 10 feet long. But the most common size for decorative fans is either 24 inches or 35 inches (in height).  Our large fans measure 20 inches high by 40 inches wide.
Decorative fans usually reflect the time period and place they are made. For example, thousands of years ago, decorative fans were made of animal hair, leaves of trees and even blades of grass. Today, most fans are made from synthetic material (like nylon or polyester) and attached to bamboo wood. Decorative fans from different parts of the Orient usually possess different artwork. For example, in China, most decorative fans have simple designs that reflect nature, while in Thailand, the decorative fans have more elaborate designs, usually of an Oriental landscape. Our fans are made of vinyl wallpaper.  We use vinyl because it doesn't fade with the sunlight and is more durable than other materials.  They are very easy to clean as well with soap and water if needed.
When decorative fans came to Japan, someone created a way to fold them and thus began a new phase in decorative fans. Today, decorative fans are foldable, light, fairly sturdy and beautifully designed. By being able to fold decorative fans, travelers could more easily take them back to their home country, only to see them change again. England and Europe came to love decorative fans and the rich displayed them in their homes and palaces.
While being Made in the USA, these fans have a distinct American style.  We fit the modern, traditional, contemporary and other styles that are more common in America.

The Mini Lamps are just the perfect size for those small areas where you want to light the entire room from a tiny lamp.  Rated at 40 watts, you can easily use this lamp as a night light or just a room light.  This lamp stands around 10 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter and has the on/off switch on the cord for easy use.

The Accent Lamp is a taller lamp standing around 12 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter and has a 60 watt rating.  We are pleased to have a large collection of children's themes as well as home decor styles which match most of our pleated fans.  The on/off switch is also located on the cord for easy use.

The Table Lamp is an even taller lamp standing around 14" high with a 6 inch diameter and is also rated at 60 watts.  It features a pull chain for the on/off switch.  With a large collection of kids prints as well as home decor styles that match most of our pleated fan styles, we are sure you will find a lamp that is just right.

The Tall Accent Lamp is a very special lamp.  At 6 inches in diameter and approximately 22 inches high, it is sure to get noticed.  With a 60 watt rating, this lamp will light up a large area with our beautiful designs.  The on/off switch is on the cord for easy use.
